Job#: 3033283 Job Description: Data Analytics Engineer (Power BI / SQL)Richmond, VA - Hybrid W2 ContractRole DescriptionWe are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to help build and scale a growing analytics environment. This role will focus on developing dashboards and reporting solutions while working closely with business stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a fast-moving environment where you'll help establish core reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
- Support the development of data models and reporting structures
- Help onboard and organize data into the analytics environment
- Adapt to evolving business needs and priorities
Requirements- Strong experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience building or supporting analytics/reporting environments
Nice to Have:- Experience with Snowflake
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems
- Exposure to data engineering concepts or tools
