Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in load balancing, firewall technologies, and enterprise networking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support network infrastructure solutions across enterprise environments
Manage and support F5 load balancers (LTM/GTM)
Configure and maintain firewalls including Cisco ASA and Fortinet FortiGate
Strong hands-on experience in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, minimizing downtime
Implement automation using scripting (Python/Shell) to improve operational efficiency
Ensure network security best practices and compliance standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, and application teams

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Network Engineering
Strong experience with F5 Load Balancing (LTM/GTM)
Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls
Solid understanding of routing & switching protocols
Experience with network monitoring and incident management
Exposure to network automation (Python/Scripting) is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in enterprise or financial environments
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is a plus
Relevant certifications (CCNP, F5, Fortinet NSE) preferred

Additional Information

Hybrid role – must be able to commute to Whippany, NJ
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment
