Senior Salesforce Developer - Only California region Candidates

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Apex development, modern integration patterns, and experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks and tools like Hightouch. The ideal candidate will have a solid Computer Science foundation, hands-on API development experience, and the ability to build scalable solutions across Salesforce and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Application Development

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration best practices.
• Build and maintain custom Salesforce applications, workflows, triggers, and automation to support business requirements.
• Develop robust backend logic with solid Apex coding standards, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Full Stack Development

• Work across both frontend and backend layers within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Build responsive and user-friendly UI components using LWC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop reusable frameworks and components to improve development efficiency and consistency.

Integration & API Development

• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using:
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Platform Events
• Middleware and integration patterns
• Develop secure and scalable API-based data exchange solutions.
• Ensure integration reliability, error handling, monitoring, and documentation.

Data Platform & Modern Data Stack Integration

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate Salesforce with Databricks for analytics, reporting, and data processing.
• Support data activation and synchronization use cases using Hightouch (Reverse ETL) to push enriched data back into Salesforce.
• Build solutions for real-time or near real-time data flows across platforms.

Software Engineering & Best Practices

• Apply strong Computer Science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD deployments, and Agile development processes.
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and governance policies.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with product owners, architects, admins, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize existing code, and provide ongoing system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Salesforce Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including:
• Apex Classes and Triggers
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce APIs and integration frameworks
• SOQL/SOSL and data modeling

Full Stack & Programming

• Solid understanding of full stack development concepts.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern web development practices.
• Strong backend engineering skills with a focus on clean and efficient Apex code.

Integration & Data Skills

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks.
• Experience with Hightouch or similar Reverse ETL tools is highly preferred.
