• Type: W2 Contract-to-Hire, 6 months
• Location: 100% Remote (Must reside within approved client target states; travel required maximum once per quarter)

Overview

• Client is seeking a Senior / Principal Solution Architect specializing in Oracle Financials and E-Business Suite (EBS) to support a leading healthcare enterprise. In this high-impact, strategic role, you will lead solution architecture for critical financial modules, guide major upgrade initiatives, and participate in cross-functional platform modernization efforts. This is an immediate, contract-to-hire opportunity designed for an architect who excels at driving technical strategy, evaluating complex trade-offs, and ensuring seamless platform integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture across core Oracle Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, and Subledger Accounting.
• Evaluate architectural trade-offs to determine optimal implementation strategies using standard configuration, module extensions, custom solutions, or application orchestration.
• Provide technical guidance on complex integrations involving Accounting Hub, OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), and external financial systems (e.g., payment platforms).
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on major platform upgrades and upcoming enterprise tool migrations.
• Facilitate critical knowledge transfer and system documentation alongside incumbent technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience specializing in Oracle Financials and E-Business Suite (EBS) architecture.
• Core hands-on architectural expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) modules.
• Proven experience architecting or integrating solutions with HR/Workforce Management ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft HCM or similar platform).
• Proven experience architecting or integrating solutions with Procurement ERP platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba or similar platform).
• Deep technical understanding of Oracle Financials data models, accounting structures, financial dimensions, subledger accounting, and integration mechanisms.
• Demonstrated experience making architectural decision trade-offs between standard configurations, module extensions, custom code, and third-party orchestration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the Healthcare industry (healthcare payer/insurance or medical provider environment).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Accounting Hub.
• Prior experience managing full-lifecycle ERP upgrades and enterprise platform replacement initiatives.
