Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a System Engineer - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities - Engineer and integrate enterprise systems architectures to support modernization and optimize performance.
- Design and implement technical solutions that are secure and scalable.
- Analyze complex system requirements and develop strategies for automation and resiliency.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and configuration management standards.
- Lead technical integration efforts and coordinate with network and security teams.
- Support lifecycle sustainment initiatives across DoDIN-connected infrastructures.
- Enforce configuration management baselines and cybersecurity compliance standards.
- Ensure systems meet RMF, STIG, and operational performance requirements.
Required Skills Required Qualifications - Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, GFACT
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience engineering and integrating enterprise systems architectures within DoD or Federal environments
- Demonstrated experience in supporting modernization and lifecycle sustainment initiatives
- Proven experience in designing secure and scalable technical solutions
- Experience in implementing automation, resiliency, and high-availability strategies
- Experience leading technical integration efforts and coordinating with network and security teams
Desired Skills Desired Qualifications - Clearance: Active Secret preferred
- Familiarity with ARNG or DoD IT environments
- Experience with SIPRNet operations
- Knowledge of RMF and STIG compliance processes
- Strong understanding of network operations and cybersecurity best practices
