We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect for a direct hire permanent role. In this fully remote position operating ideally within the Eastern or Central Time Zones , you will design and deliver trusted data products that drive mission-critical solutions across a massive global footprint.

responsibilities:
- Architecting and implementing resilient ETL and ELT pipelines for both batch and real-time workloads across diverse data sources.
- Building and optimizing scalable lakehouse and warehouse architectures to efficiently manage structured and semi-structured data.
- Collaborating daily with cross-functional technical stakeholders to map out and deliver comprehensive batch and real-time solution components.
- Establishing rigorous frameworks for data quality, observability, and schema evolution to guarantee end-to-end pipeline reliability.
- Partnering with cloud infrastructure teams to maximize performance and operational efficiency through strategic resource provisioning and proactive alerting.
- Ensuring all architectural designs meet strict data governance, security, privacy, and disaster recovery standards.
- Working closely with business leaders to spearhead and deliver strategic Artificial Intelligence capabilities across the organization.
- Mentoring data engineers and providing top-level architectural guidance without the administrative burden of direct people management.

qualifications:
Must-HavesTwelve or more years of comprehensive experience working in a data-centric technical role. Eight or more years of proven experience collaborating with technical teams to architect and deploy secure, cost-efficient data solutions. Five or more years of dedicated experience building modern data engineering architectures utilizing Microsoft Azure, Synapse, and Fabric. Five or more years of hands-on experience developing configuration-driven ingestion frameworks for automated and reusable data integration. Five or more years applying DevOps methodologies, including version control, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code. Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages. Deep expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, alongside strong knowledge of Medallion-style architectures. Nice-to-HavesPrior professional experience working within the construction industry. Familiarity with implementing Microsoft Purview for enterprise data governance and cataloging compliance. Experience interfacing with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations as well as Customer Engagement platforms.
