We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Project Engineer to join our growing team in the scientific industry. This is a permanent role that will play a crucial part in the planning, execution, and finalization of engineering projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The successful candidate will work with a team of professionals dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and applications. Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device
- Proven experience with Design History Files (DHF).
- Exceptional technical writing skills.
- Strong leadership, decision making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
