Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join a growing technology team supporting enterprise applications and business-critical platforms. This role is ideal for a technically minded analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of business processes, product development, and technology solutions.

The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders, product teams, and technical stakeholders to gather, refine, and document requirements while helping drive application enhancements and process improvements. This position requires someone who can go beyond basic requirements gathering and actively challenge assumptions, uncover business needs, and translate complex workflows into effective technical solutions.

Duties:
* Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business and system requirements
* Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and identify opportunities to improve business processes and application functionality
* Create and maintain user stories, business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional documentation
* Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented
* Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
* Support product-oriented initiatives by providing detailed application and workflow analysis
* Utilize Jira and other project management tools to manage requirements, track progress, and support agile delivery processes
* Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and support evolving business needs
* Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate documentation, process mapping, and requirements development while validating outputs for accuracy
* Present findings, functionality, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership audiences

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, Application Analyst, or similar role
* Strong requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation experience
* Experience working closely with software development, QA, product, or application support teams
* Ability to understand and discuss application functionality, system workflows, and technical concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience creating process flows, business requirements documents, user stories, and functional specifications
* Proficiency with Jira and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
* Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Ability to confidently communicate with senior leadership and business stakeholders

Nice to Have/Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting field operations, construction, maintenance, utilities, telecommunications, or related industries
* Product-focused business analysis experience
* Background in software development, QA, application support, or other hands-on technical roles
* Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments
* Exposure to AI-assisted documentation, prompt engineering, or AI productivity tools
* Experience with process improvement initiatives and workflow automation
* Familiarity with Splunk or similar monitoring and analytics platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
