Location: Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our distributed team. This role is a unique hybrid opportunity for a seasoned developer who excels in core backend technologies like Java and Spring Boot, while possessing specialized knowledge in Guidewire and the emerging field of Agentic AI.

You will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust APIs, managing cloud-based data workflows via AWS Glue, and driving innovation through the integration of autonomous AI agents into enterprise systems.

Technical Requirements

  • Java & Spring Boot (Expert): Extensive experience building scalable, high-performance microservices and backend systems.
  • API Design & Development (Expert): Mastery of RESTful services, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), and secure API gateways.
  • Guidewire (Intermediate): Professional experience working within the Guidewire ecosystem (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter), including configuration or integration.
  • Data & Cloud (Intermediate): Hands-on experience with ETL processes specifically using AWS Glue to manage data lakes and integration pipelines.
  • Agentic AI: Demonstrated experience or project work involving Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI) and LLM orchestration.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy complex backend applications using Spring Boot and Java.
  • Perform configuration and integration tasks within Guidewire platforms to support insurance business logic.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines in AWS Glue to ensure seamless data movement and transformation.
  • Develop and implement Agentic AI solutions to automate complex workflows and improve system autonomy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and technical peers.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade software.
