Business Systems Analyst with Data

Smithfield, RI (Hybrid)

2 Positions

7+ years of relevant experience in various systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, uses case development, story writing, set-up / configuration of systems, user acceptance testing and product documentation
Outstanding conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities including synthesizing findings and developing practical and realistic recommendations.
Proven capacity to lead analysis of business systems and/or business process to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operation/ process issues/ improvements to accomplish business objectives.
Proven capacity to lead clarification and translation of less-technical documentation and/or requirements into highly technical subject-matter for database / data projects
Strong data analysis skills that allow you to research and document the existing and future systems
Strong handson skills in SQL and/or Python for data analysis and validation.
Experience working on ETL projects
Solid understanding of database design concepts and experience working with platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3, and similar technologies
Experience working in Agile delivery models (SCRUM and/or Kanban)
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to:

Convey data findings and insights to business partners in clear, businessfocused language
Translate business needs and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications for technology teams

Excellent interpersonal, team player, collaboration skills with experience coordinating across multiple teams and disciplines.
