About the Opportunity

We are hiring Entry-Level Structured Cabling Technicians to support commercial customers with voice, data, and low-voltage infrastructure installations. This role is perfect for someone who wants to start at the ground level and grow into a skilled Cable Technician, with future exposure to security systems.
You'll begin as a cable puller, learning best practices from experienced technicians, and will progressively move into terminations, troubleshooting, and advanced low-voltage work. This is a hands-on role with a clear career path for motivated individuals.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of a structured cabling team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Running, pulling, and routing large volumes of voice and data cable (Cat5, Cat6)
  • Installing cable through conduit and commercial building pathways
  • Punching down and terminating cables on both ends
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and basic testing
  • Working safely at heights using ladders and scissor lifts
  • Representing the company professionally in front of multiple customers daily
  • Following safety guidelines and jobsite best practices

Work Environment

  • Commercial customer sites
  • Physical work requiring standing, lifting, bending, and working overhead
  • Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts
  • Customer-facing role with regular interaction throughout the day

Required Qualifications

  • Entry-level interest in structured cabling or low voltage systems
  • Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scissor lifts)
  • Strong reliability, work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • OSHA 10 certification (required)
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional communication
  • Ability to remain professional in fast-paced or challenging customer environments

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience pulling or installing Cat5 / Cat6 cable
  • Exposure to structured cabling or low-voltage installations
  • Construction, labor, or hands-on technical experience
  • Familiarity with punch-downs or basic troubleshooting

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
