We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Strategist to support a large-scale Managed File Transfer (MFT) migration initiative. This role will focus on transitioning existing users from MessageWay to MOVEit within a complex, enterprise-level environment handling high-volume, secure data transfers across multiple departments.
The File Transfer Service (FTS) supports millions of secure file exchanges and plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, reliability, and automation of data movement. This position will contribute to a multi-year migration effort aimed at modernizing and expanding file transfer capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support migration from MessageWay to MOVEit platforms
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy scripts for automation
Configure and troubleshoot MessageWay, MWIR, MOVEit, and TIBCO applications
Collaborate with stakeholders to design secure and efficient file transfer solutions
Develop and maintain strategic plans aligned with organizational goals
Create and customize reports to meet business and operational needs
Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies and best practices
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with MessageWay, MWIR, MOVEit, and TIBCO (customization, configuration, troubleshooting)
Strong expertise in database architecture related to MFT platforms
Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
Proven experience working within SDLC frameworks
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
Experience designing enterprise file transfer solutions
Work Schedule:
Part-time: Approximately 15 hours per week
Flexible schedule; work may occur outside standard business hours
Evening and occasional weekend availability required
