API / UI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a API/UI Developer to work in the CLT, DEN, or STL office 4 days a week, one day remote.

Duties:
* Work with website managers and brand leadership to improve the performance of the websites and add new features as necessary
* Maintain the existing code base
* Working with API endpoints utilizing Node.js (GraphQL)
* Create and update front end web pages and content using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and other web programming techniques.
* Provide technical and programming support for integration between the websites and third party providers
* Provide technical assistance and recommendations on process improvement
* Produce and maintain written documentation of system information

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Services or technology related discipline or 4+ years of experience in business programming
* Middle to Senior level experience - must be able to hit the ground running. Required skills:
* Experience with JavaScript. Node.js for API endpoints is the most important (GraphQL for building and querying APIs; Endpoints to support automation system)
* UI - React or Angular experience; NodeJS API experience is most important
* Strong understanding of databases, Oracle DB, SQL Server
* Must have very good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and provide consistent attention to detail

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
