Job Title: Backend Engineer (Java | Python | AWS | Kafka)

Location: Remote (USA)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Experience : 6+ years

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Python
Build and manage event-driven systems using Kafka
Design and consume APIs using GraphQL
Work with AWS cloud services for scalable system deployment
Write efficient queries and manage data using SQL databases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability

Required Skills

3–5 years of experience in Java backend development
Hands-on experience with Python
Strong experience with AWS (cloud services)
Solid understanding of SQL and database design
Experience with Apache Kafka
Experience working with GraphQL APIs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Micronaut framework
Exposure to Fintech or payment systems
Experience with Apache Flink or Kafka Streams
