Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure-by-default architectures across cloud-native, microservices, and AI-enabled systems. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in security architecture to support modernization initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry-standard security frameworks.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, independent execution, and the ability to evaluate business needs, perform risk and cost/benefit analysis, and deliver secure, scalable solutions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure cloud-native architectures and security frameworks
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into secure technical solutions
  • Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for complex systems
  • Define and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust strategies
  • Secure microservices, APIs, and containerized environments
  • Integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
  • Implement and manage cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools
  • Evaluate system capabilities and recommend secure architecture improvements
  • Develop security standards, policies, and best practices
  • Ensure protection of sensitive data including PII/PHI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive secure system design and implementation
  • Present security risks, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders



Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in information security and systems architecture
  • Proven experience designing secure cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 or similar
  • Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture
  • Experience performing threat modeling and risk assessments
  • Hands-on experience securing microservices, APIs, and containerized environments
  • Experience with CSPM tools and cloud security best practices
  • Experience integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience securing AI/LLM-based systems and data pipelines
  • Knowledge of data protection strategies for sensitive data (PII/PHI)
  • Experience presenting risk assessments to leadership
  • Ability to develop enterprise security policies and standards
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Certification
