Change Manager, Functional Excellence
Role Summary
The Change Manager will play a critical role in advancing a global transformation initiative focused on improving visibility, accountability, collaboration, and operational effectiveness across functional teams. This position will lead change management efforts that support new ways of working, clarify roles and responsibilities, and strengthen alignment between regional, country, and global teams.
The successful candidate will drive stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption activities across multiple functional areas. Working closely with transformation leaders and cross functional stakeholders, this individual will help ensure successful implementation of organizational changes while minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead change management activities supporting global Functional Excellence initiatives across People & Culture, Legal, and Program Strategy functions
• Adapt and deliver training materials, presentations, and change adoption resources for global audiences
• Facilitate virtual and in person training sessions for country, regional, and headquarters teams
• Develop and execute communication plans, stakeholder updates, leadership messaging, and change readiness activities
• Conduct change impact assessments and identify adoption risks across affected stakeholder groups
• Implement stakeholder engagement strategies that drive awareness, understanding, and support for organizational changes
• Manage feedback mechanisms, surveys, and adoption metrics to measure project effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with project leadership and functional stakeholders to support implementation, policy socialization, and continuous improvement efforts
Key Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in organizational change management, transformation initiatives, project management, or related disciplines
• Demonstrated experience leading change management efforts within complex, multi stakeholder organizations
• Strong experience developing and delivering training programs, communications strategies, and stakeholder engagement plans
• Proven ability to conduct change impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies to support successful adoption
• Familiarity with organizational design, process improvement, governance frameworks, and operating model transformations
• Experience supporting global teams and navigating cross functional environments with multiple stakeholder groups
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship building skills
• Strong adaptability, problem solving abilities, and the capacity to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting nonprofit, international development, humanitarian, or mission driven organizations
• Knowledge of change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar frameworks
• Experience working within globally distributed organizations across multiple regions and cultures
