Summary

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps (ADO) to lead the configuration, optimization, and adoption of our internal ADO environment. This is a 3-month contract focused on establishing scalable Agile practices, improving team workflows, and ensuring effective project visibility and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the setup, configuration, and optimization of Azure DevOps (ADO) to support Agile project delivery across the organization
Define and implement Agile best practices, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Establish and structure work item hierarchies (Epics, Features, User Stories) to ensure clarity, traceability, and alignment with business objectives
Configure and manage ADO boards, backlogs, workflows, and dashboards, including burndown charts and reporting metrics
Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across teams using ADO
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on Agile methodologies and effective use of ADO
Ensure visibility into project progress through reporting, metrics, and dashboards

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Project Management within Agile environments
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) configuration and administration
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, including backlog management and sprint execution
Experience structuring Epics, Features, and User Stories
Proven ability to implement and optimize Agile tools and processes
Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience acting as a Scrum Master
Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.)
Experience driving Agile transformations or tool implementations
Background working with cross-functional technical teams
