Summary

Job Description

Acquire and assists in interpreting business requirements, creates a functional specification, and determines the most efficient/appropriate technologies. Submit and review technical and process improvement recommendations as a member of the technical leadership team. Assist in analysis of business models, logical specifications, and/or customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions utilizing multiple technologies. Help mitigate significant risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business. Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices. Schedule and lead brainstorming activities surrounding development functionality. Maintain and modify web applications; make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes. Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks. Provide tier 2, on-call support for critical web application problems and issues. Analyze performance of websites and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with clients and approval of supervisor. Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy. Role is office-based with hybrid flexibility to work up to 12 days from home within reasonable commuting distance of the Cleveland, OH office. Multiple openings available.

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer (Front End Developer), Designer, Web Designer or related role where required experience gained.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Five (5) years with CSS and/or HTML;
Five (5) years of object-oriented analysis and design;
Three (3) years with JavaScript, CSS3, and/or HTML5;
Three (3) years with a server side programming language (Java, .Net, Ruby, Python, PHP);
Two (2) years with a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as Oracle, DB2, Postgres, or MySQL;
Two (2) years with Version control systems such as Git, mercurial, or subversion; and
Two (2) years with ReactJS, Angular JS, Agile, C++, SQL.
