Job Description

Looking for a Mid-Sr Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java/Java EE application development.


• Design service-based applications in a multi-tier architecture, delivering high-availability and performance
• Developing and Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Work with a team of developers redesigning and expanding the capabilities on our company website for our customers & business partners
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
Desired Skills and Experience
• BA/BS degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or equivalent
• Experience with JEE (JSF, JAXB, JPA, XML,etc.)
• Experience implementing RESTful (& traditional) web services; TIBCO BW experience a plus
• Experience with portal technologies, specifically Liferay a plus
• Understanding of system architecture and design patterns
• Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently

Java/J2ee application, Heavy Oracle backend, business logic is in the database layer, Tibco Services or Webservices (can teach that)

Must have strong communication with the ability to do business and work with the team over the phone. team player, analytical.
