Job Title: UX Designer

Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid/Onsite)

Job Summary

Connectedx is seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to work in a purely independent capacity, responsible for designing elegant, user-focused digital interfaces across web and enterprise platforms. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate evolving business and user needs into intuitive, high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end UX solutions independently, from concept to final execution
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools such as Adobe XD and InVision
• Design graphical user interface elements including menus, tabs, widgets, navigation buttons, and search fields
• Develop UX mockups and interactive prototypes that clearly illustrate functionality and user flows
• Re-design and enhance existing themes, including theme colors, branding elements, and product logos
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Create original graphic assets such as images, sketches, icons, and tables
• Gather, analyze, and evaluate evolving UX requirements in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and architects
• Prepare and present rough drafts and design concepts to internal teams, product owners, architects, and key stakeholders
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve UX issues independently (e.g., responsiveness, usability gaps), including performing root cause analysis
• Conduct layout and design adjustments based on user feedback and usability findings

Required Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a UX Designer or similar role, working in a purely independent capacity
• Strong portfolio of design projects demonstrating UX expertise and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD and InVision
• Up-to-date working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and responsive design
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on enterprise, automotive, or large-scale digital platforms
• Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams (including North America and India-based engineering partners)
