Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle GoldenGate–focused Oracle DBA Contractor to support mission critical enterprise data replication, database administration, and cloud integration initiatives. This role centers heavily on GoldenGate engineering, real time data movement, and high availability operations across on prem and cloud platforms, including data delivery into Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and BigQuery. The contractor will also support Oracle database environments, contribute to architectural improvements, and participate in a scheduled on call rotation to ensure 24×7 system support.
Required Experience
- 5+ years Oracle DBA experience supporting production environments.
- 3+ years hands on GoldenGate experience (19.x or 21.x).
- Strong expertise with CDC based replication and high availability architectures.
- Experience delivering Oracle GoldenGate data into GCS and BigQuery.
- Experience with ZDLRA, RMAN, and enterprise grade recovery operations.
- Strong SQL/PLSQL, Linux/UNIX, and performance tuning skills.
- Experience troubleshooting large scale distributed data replication environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and incident response skills.
- Experience with OCI GoldenGate or cloud managed replication services.
- Knowledge of hybrid data architectures involving On Prem, OCI, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience contributing to design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
