Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Terraform and infrastructure automation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Oracle databases while driving automation, provisioning, and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c or higher)
Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (RMAN, Data Guard)
Ensure database security, patching, and compliance
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/OCI) for database deployments
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
Troubleshoot database and infrastructure-related issues
Collaborate with DevOps, application, and cloud teams
Required Skills
Strong experience as an Oracle DBA (5+ years preferred)
Hands-on experience with Terraform (mandatory)
Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard
Experience with shell scripting / automation (Bash, Python)
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or OCI)
Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DevOps practices and tools
Familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker
Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) are a plus
