We are actively seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer with deep Data Loss Prevention (DLP) expertise and strong experience in Check Point (R82), Microsoft 365 messaging security, and Citrix ShareFile Outlook Plug-In deployment.
This role is focused on preventing data exfiltration across email, endpoints, and network layers in a regulated enterprise environment. Candidates must have real-world implementation experience, not just exposure.

Duration: Contract - to Hire
Rate: $60-$65 per hour W-2
Key Responsibilities
- Lead deployment and secure configuration of the Citrix ShareFile Outlook Plug-In within a Microsoft 365 environment
- Design, implement, and tune Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across email, endpoints, and network gateways
- Configure and manage Check Point Smart-1 (R82) security gateways, including access control, HTTPS inspection, and logging
- Administer Check Point Endpoint Security (E88.x / E88.62) policies aligned to DLP strategy
- Secure email communications across Exchange Online, Outlook (desktop), and Outlook Web App (OWA)
- Identify and mitigate risks related to email attachments, external recipients, and cloud file sharing
- Develop documentation including risk assessments, test plans, and validation procedures
- Collaborate with Security, Messaging, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams
Required Qualifications (Must-Have Keywords for Search Matching)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) (policy creation, tuning, enforcement)
- Experience deploying and securing Citrix ShareFile Outlook Plug-In
- Deep expertise with Check Point Smart-1 / Security Gateway (R80/R82)
- Experience with Check Point Endpoint Security (E88.x, E88.62 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online / Outlook / OWA
- Experience with email security, data protection, and data exfiltration prevention
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications (Adds Keyword Reach)
- Experience with Microsoft Purview DLP / Compliance Manager
- Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint Online, or secure file transfer platforms
- Background in financial services or regulated environments
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, CASB, or Insider Risk Management
