Business Analyst – Insurance Domain 13 + years of experience must be local to NJ/NY

They should have worked at least 5 years in Insurance domain.

Mandatory Skills

LOMA certification with at least FLMI Level 1 (FLMI Level 2 or higher preferred).

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Experience

13+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Insurance domain.
Strong understanding of insurance operations, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
Proven expertise in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and functional documentation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
Proficiency with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN tools).
Familiarity with business intelligence, reporting tools, and data analysis techniques.
Experience supporting UAT and working with QA teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
