My client has implemented ServiceNow into their environment and are looking to build out the full-time ServiceNow team and to end reliance on contractors and consultants. This is a 100% remote position and can be based anywhere in the U.S. as long as the employee can work Central Standard Time work hours. The position will start out as a contract (W2) and convert to full-time sometime after 6 months. This client has used R4 Resources for over 10 years to fill their hiring needs and we have direct access to the hiring manager and director as well as extensive knowledge of the process.
Qualifications:
Education in information technology, Computer Science or related field. Preferably a Bachelors Degree.
3+ years hands-on experience administering ServiceNow, with a focus on ITOM, Service Mapping and Discovery.
Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) is preferred.
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow''s Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB architecture.
JavaScript for ServiceNow platform scripting
Familiarity with networking concepts, application architectures and cloud services (AWS and/or Azure)
Responsibilities:
Administrater and maintain Discovery and Service Mapping configurations within the SN platform.
Lead the attestation, refinement and troubleshooting of service maps.
Monitor CMDB focusing on orphaned, stale and duplicate configuration items (CIs)
Collaborate with infrastructure and app teams to ensure services are mapped and updated correctly
Contribute to governance and best practices for data quality and documentation of processes.
Perform regular checks of service maps to identify mapping issues and drift.
