Business Continuity and Crisis/Event Management Specialist

Location: Pittsburgh, PA/ Dallas, TX/Cleveland, OH/ Birmingham, AL

Duration: 4 6 Months with possible extension or conversion.
Contract Type: W2 Contract

Working Hours: M-F 8-5 EST; training period will be 11 AM 8 PM EST

Team Dynamic:

• Very outgoing communication with each other, turnovers from one shift be able to communicate what occurred during their shift and be able to communicate to stakeholders (liaison between team and the rest of the business.
• Similar roles, ~27 people working varying shifts

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Technology incident response, response to major disaster events (hurricane, physical security, etc)
• Oversees testing, emergency response, and recovery.
• Guides the selection of operating strategies for the continuation of the business within a recovery time objective.
• Supports business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning.
• Provides support and expertise during live events.
• Conducts, communicates, and maintains business continuity lifecycle.
• Monitors and reports on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events and exercise results.
• Supports businesses in relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.
• Develops, enhances and disseminates information on continuity processes, standards and initiatives. Provides support for the development and delivery of training on business continuity
• Act as liaison between team and rest of business to communicate disruption response

Must Have Skills:

• Crisis management
• Incident response, event response
• Enterprise experience
• Business Resiliency/Continuity experience
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Adherence to internal risks and controls
• Experience with Regulatory and/or Audit exams
• ServiceNow
• Experience with technology risk within financial institutions

Flex Skills:

• Crisis Management Application (Everbridge, Visual Command Center (VCC), and VEOCI)
• Proficiency in Tableau
• Experience with Fusion Risk Management (BCH Business Continuity Hub)
• Analytical background
• Experience with KY3P (know your third party)

CBCP certification/DRI cert Soft Skills:

• Written and Verbal Communication
• High Level Critical Thinking Skills/common sense

Education:

• Will look at experience in lieu of education
• CBCP certification/DRI certifications nice to have

Interview Process:

• 1st round 30 minutes with hiring manager and lead
• Potential 2nd round 30 minutes with hiring managers and other managers
