Summary:

This position will be a key member of a small team responsible for the forecasting, budgeting and financial results analysis of Energy Transfer's margin generating activities, as well as supporting joint venture financial reporting and budget presentations. This candidate will need the ability to operate in a fast paced, collaborative environment and will work closely with our Commercial, Accounting and Operations groups. This position will be based in our Houston or Dallas office. This position will assist in the presentation/preparation of the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Participation in the budget and forecast process for margin activities.

- Prepare and participate in reporting monthly results to commercial and operational leadership.

- Performance of this function will require this position to maintain a close productive relationship with commercial, accounting and operations groups.

- Prepare budgets and forecast information for delivery and presentation to joint venture partners. - Understand and evaluate the impact of changing market conditions that impact revenue.

- Preparation of Management Discussion and Analysis for inclusion in our 10Q and 10K filings.

- Preparation of quarterly analysis reporting package that will be presented to financial, commercial and operational leadership in preparation for our quarterly earnings call.

- Support the FP&A Manager and the Vice President of Finance in responding to requests from external joint venture partners.

- Support our Corporate FP&A group in the preparation of presentations to investors and ratings agencies.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written - Strong Excel modeling skills

- Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

- Big 4 audit or consulting experience, preferably with exposure to the oil and gas industry, is a strong plus but not a requirement.

Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

- Occasional overnight travel may be required. - Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
  • Associate Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant job related experience
  • Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience

  • The Senior Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
