Head of Demand Generation

Job Summary:
Techment Technology is a Microsoft Solution Partner in Data and AI, helping US mid-market companies modernize their data infrastructure, deploy intelligent automation, and build AI native capabilities on the Microsoft Azure and Fabric ecosystem.
We are hiring a Head of Demand Generation to build and lead our demand generation engine from the ground up. This is a player-coach role. You will personally drive pipeline while simultaneously building the team, tools, and processes that scale output beyond what any individual can produce alone.
You will have full P&L and team authority over the demand gen function, reporting directly to the CEO. If you have built demand gen machines for IT services firms before, know what great outbound looks like, and thrive in a build environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. You will own demand generation for Techment end-to-end: strategy, team, tooling, budget, and results. How you get there is yours to figure out.
2. In your first 90 days, we expect you to assess what is working, discard what is not, and begin generating qualified pipeline personally. You will not wait for the perfect system to be built before you start producing.
3. Beyond that, you will build the engine: the people, processes, and technology stack that makes pipeline generation repeatable and scalable. Whether that means AI-powered outbound, account-based programs, Microsoft co-sell motions, content,events, or some combination we have not thought of yet, we care about what works, not how you get there.
4. You will work directly with the CEO to align on target accounts, pipeline health, and go to-market priorities, and with our delivery team to translate our work into compelling market narratives.
5. The one non-negotiable: results. Pipeline is the output we measure.
Required Skills:
1. Proven experience in B2B demand generation for IT Services (not SaaS, not product companies). You understand services buying cycles, relationship-driven deals, and how to generate pipeline for an intangible offering.
2. Demonstrated personal track record. You can name specific campaigns, channels, and the pipeline numbers they produced.
3. Deep outbound experience targeting US mid-market buyers (Directors, VPs, C-suite).
4. AI-native operator. You use AI tools to multiply your output, not just manage a team that does.
5. Demonstrated ability to build a demand gen function from a low base, not just manage one that is already running.
Preferred Skills:
1. Microsoft partner ecosystem experience: co-sell motions, Microsoft field seller
relationships, and partner-led pipeline generation.
2. Vertical domain knowledge in Insurance, Utilities, or Financial Services.
3. Hands-on experience with ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase), intent data tools, or AI SDR platforms (Clay, Apollo, etc.).
4. Familiarity with Microsoft Data and AI stack: Fabric, Azure OpenAI, Power BI, Copilot.
