Role: Senior ServiceNow Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA - Hybrid
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow consultant with a strong background in ServiceNow practice delivery to join our team in Atlanta. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who has worked within structured ServiceNow practices or COEs, delivering scalable solutions, driving best practices, and supporting enterprise-level implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver ServiceNow development and enhancement work, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with business priorities.
Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
Provide ongoing platform maintenance and break/fix support, ensuring high availability and optimal performance (minimal break/fix expected in a stable environment).
Contribute to and uphold ServiceNow practice standards, including coding guidelines, governance, and reusable solution design.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Lead or support one major ServiceNow platform upgrade annually, including planning, regression testing, and validation.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM.
Support release management, deployment processes, and change control activities.
Contribute to knowledge sharing within the ServiceNow practice.
Stay current with ServiceNow releases, capabilities, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8–10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
Proven experience working within a ServiceNow practice, Center of Excellence (CoE), or structured delivery model.
Strong expertise in:
ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)
Flow Designer / Workflow
UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts
Integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs)
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, releases, and instance management.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise IT environments.
Ability to manage workload independently and deliver consistent monthly output.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Additional certifications in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules.
Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder engagement.
