Position OverviewThe PC Deployment Technician will support end-user device refresh and deployment initiatives in a Windows environment. This role focuses on preparing, validating, and delivering pre-imaged PCs to end users while ensuring a smooth transition of data, applications, and user productivity tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working remotely with users, and experienced with Microsoft endpoint management tools.
Key Responsibilities- OneDrive Registration & Data Migration Support
- Assist end users with OneDrive sign-in and profile setup on newly deployed PCs.
- Verify successful synchronization and transfer of user data from legacy devices to new systems.
- Troubleshoot OneDrive sync and access issues to ensure data integrity and user readiness.
- Intune Company Portal & Application Deployment
- Use Microsoft Intune and the Company Portal to install, validate, and troubleshoot required applications on Windows devices.
- Confirm successful software deployments and resolve application installation failures as needed.
- Ensure devices meet configuration and compliance requirements prior to handoff.
- Remote PC Access & User Coordination
- Remotely access pre-imaged PCs to perform final checks and configuration prior to deployment.
- Coordinate with end users to schedule deployment times and minimize business disruption.
- Guide users through device setup, data access, and post-deployment validation.
- Deployment & Documentation
- Validate system readiness, connectivity, and user access before and after deployment.
- Document deployment activities, issues, and resolutions according to IT procedures.
- Escalate technical issues when necessary while maintaining ownership through resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience supporting PC deployments, device refreshes, or endpoint rollouts in a Windows environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and the Intune Company Portal.
- Strong understanding of OneDrive setup, synchronization, and data migration.
- Experience remotely supporting end users during device transitions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly guide non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting large-scale deployment or refresh projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 user environments.
- Prior experience working in structured deployment or rollout schedules.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.50/hr.
