Job Summary:
Role Description The nursing-focused supply chain pro. Handles all the high-volume med/surg consumables, ICU, ED, infection prevention. Breadth over depth.
• Drive SKU rationalization and product standardization across clinical areas
• Lead nursing-focused Value Analysis initiatives and product trials
• Manage high-volume product conversions (gloves, IV sets, wound care, etc.)
• Negotiate pricing for med/surg consumable contracts
• Work with CNOs, nursing directors, and infection prevention teams owns:
• Med/Surg: Gloves, syringes, IV sets, wound care, dressings, continence, respiratory therapy
• ICU/Critical Care: Hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator circuits, enteral feeding, central line kits
• ED: Trauma supplies, suture kits, splinting, airway management
• Infection Prevention: Isolation products, hand hygiene, disinfectants, sterilization, SSI bundles
• Nursing/Patient Care: Skin care, fall prevention, positioning, compression therapy
• Other: Nutritional products, ophthalmology, rehab supplies
Required Skills
• 5+ years healthcare supply chain or clinical value analysis
• 3+ years managing med/surg and acute care categories — must be really strong here
• Experience engaging nursing leadership on standardization
• Track record of delivering savings through product conversions and SKU rationalization
