? Partner with the Solution Product Manager responsible for defining the product roadmap.
? Translate product capabilities into clearly defined features and user stories.
? Develop detailed development requirements and testing criteria, and oversee the testing process.
? Work within a Kanban delivery model.
? Support the technology behind InterQual, a solution used by both payers and hospitals to evaluate and justify the necessity of care or treatment and determine coverage eligibility.
? Industry experience is preferred but not required.
? No coding is required for this role; however, the ability to write SQL queries is necessary. No code review responsibilities beyond SQL.
? Work is entirely web-based, with no mobile development involved.
The Technical Product Manager for InterQual AutoReview will lead execution of AI-enabled utilization management capabilities, translating clinical, operational, and integration requirements into clear, testable product deliverables. This role partners closely with engineering, data science, clinical SMEs, and EHR integration teams to deliver scalable, production-ready automation within regulated healthcare workflows.
Key Responsibilities
? Define and manage backlog for AutoReview features tied to UM workflows (admission, concurrent, second-level review)
? Translate clinical criteria, documentation patterns, and AI model outputs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria
? Coordinate EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner; FHIR/CDS Hooks familiarity preferred)
? Partner with engineering and data science on AI model deployment, validation, and production readiness
? Maintain strong documentation and DevOps board hygiene; support incremental delivery in regulated environments
Required Qualifications
? 2+ years in in technical product management, Product Owner, or BSA role
? 4+ years in healthcare domain, preferably in utilization management workflows
? Working knowledge of EHR integration fundamentals and data mapping concepts - must have!
? AI literacy, including understanding model application, limitations, and production considerations
? Strong ability to write precise, testable product requirements
