Job Title: OL-8909 - System Automation - Agile Developer - Level 3
Location: Fort Meade, MD (onsite)
Contract Duration: until 07/18/2031
Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests; authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright; Knowledgeable in microservices design architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, and Agile Methodology; executing load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing; agile development and delivery of software; communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, plus 9 years of experience; or Master''s degree plus 7 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education
· Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope (FS) polygraph, and CI poly within last 7 years
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests
· Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright
· Knowledgeable in microservices design architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology
· Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing
· Agile development and delivery of software
· Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
DESIRED SKILLS (2 of the following preferred)
· Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium Tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
· S/W: Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible
· Other: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, GitLab, Jira
