Job Overview: We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead program execution and manage stakeholders and dependencies for our uLED backplane silicon programs, spanning from early development to high-volume manufacturing. As a Display Silicon TPM, you will act as a bridge between internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and execution. This role involves working closely with display silicon architects, test and product engineering, sourcing, and external vendor program management to drive complex, multi-stakeholder programs to successful completion. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with world-class teams to deliver cutting-edge silicon for AR and smart glasses.
Responsibilities: - Coordinate internal cross-functional teams, including uLED, test, packaging, and sourcing, through recurring meetings and program reviews to ensure alignment.
- Track decisions, surface dependencies and risks, and resolve gaps before escalation is required.
- Manage external vendor relationships, including recurring meetings, milestone reviews, and face-to-face sessions
- Maintain integrated program schedules that align client's milestones with vendor-committed dates and address misalignments early.
- Track program status across internal and external workstreams and produce milestone readouts for leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain a living risk register covering technical execution, vendor delivery, IP concerns, and schedule risks, and drive mitigation plans with clear ownership and deadlines.
- Provide risk summaries and decision items for leadership readouts.
Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience as a technical program manager or equivalent project management experience in a hardware or silicon development environment.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to coordinate execution across multiple engineering teams and translate high-level commitments into actionable schedules.
- Experience working with external vendors, contract manufacturers, or foundries.
- Exposure to hardware development phases, including prototype, qualification, and mass production.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting program status and risks to stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive decisions from incomplete information and follow through on action items.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting requirements and tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting semiconductor programs across foundry, OSAT, or silicon vendor interfaces.
- Familiarity with display silicon, uLED, or related electro-optical technologies.
- Experience managing programs with multiple external vendors.
- Experience working across time zones with international partners.
- Proficiency in program tracking and milestone reporting tools such as Smartsheet or Jira.
- Experience translating engineering status and risks into briefings for leadership.
- Experience supporting consumer device programs from prototype validation through mass production.
