- 5+ years of experience consulting focused on Agile work execution at the team and RTE level - focus on the team/task execution level
- 5+ years of proven experience with Agile tools, including Jira, Confluence and writing detailed user stories
- Experience and ability to execute work in order to showcase and exhibit best practices ie: enter user stories using all best practices and incorporating all the necessary practices for the client enviorment
- Excellent development management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring and control
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified SAFe Agile Consultant (SPC) or SAFe RTE Certification
- Knowledge of Portfolio and Program Management
- Software Engineering Principals
- Software Engineering Experience
- Defense industry experience - experience in supporting government institutions

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the tools and processes available to the team at the enterprise level
- Establish and maintain a standard work approach and delivery methodology using existing tools
- Establish and execute a plan to improve ways of working for the team to yield the results that could include:
- Improve all aspects of planning and work execution at the team level
- Establishing and maintaining a standard work approach and delivery methodology
- Increasing Transparency in work planning and progress made using existing tools
- Expediting and Standardizing of communication & reporting
- Creating the ability to consistently identify and meet milestones
- Increasing the speed and transparency of issue identification and resolution
- Increasing the accuracy, speed and transparency of work execution
Associated Tasks and Responsibilities across Teams:
- Establish and maintain a standard work approach and delivery methodology using existing tools
- Facilitate in the development and execution of work plans, resource allocation plans, and schedules using Agile and appropriate methodologies and tools such as Jira
- Facilitate and Execute Workshops that include large and small audience training
- Facilitate the management and mitigation of risks, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues and dependencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to adopt Agile appropriate principles and practices
- Assist and facilitate the development and maintenance of work metrics, reports, and dashboards to ensure transparency and visibility into project progress
- Ensure compliance with the team's organizational processes and standards
- Review prioritized projects, and help refine business cases to support project initiation and funding
Associated tasks and Activities at the Team level
- Engage existing Developers, Scrum Masters and Product Owners and improve the execution of Agile principles and practices
- Influence the facilitate the improvement plans for Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Development teams
- Guide teams to leverage appropriate framework and agreed upon best practices with the goal to of developing high quality, testable and maintainable software
- Help teams create an environment that fosters transparency, learning, innovation, quality and speed
- Mentor and coach individuals and teams in adopting and APPLYING Agile value and practices

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
