Job Description

As a NOVOS Support Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our Digital Product and Automation initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support and expertise for our NOVOS platform, ensuring its long-term performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to identify and implement improvements, driving product reliability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide second-level support for software products and automation systems, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Utilize Jira Service Management for issue tracking and prioritization.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on software and system issues, proposing effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain customized software configurations for customers.
  • Drive continuous improvements to deployment processes and support tools.
  • Engage in software development, creating advanced diagnostic utilities for field support.
  • Maintain virtualized test environments for accurate testing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product enhancements, ensuring reliability.
  • Update firewall configurations and security policies using approved tools.
  • Administer web applications, manage user access, and release configuration files.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Essential experience in supporting industrial automation, control systems, or complex software applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in root cause analysis for integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of networking architecture and firewall administration is a must.
  • Preferred experience with Linux-based systems and AWS cloud services.
  • Experience in web application administration, user access management, and configuration management.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Linux, Python, and virtualization technologies.
  • Field experience supporting industrial automation systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer support and field deployments.
