Job Description A premier financial services and wealth management organization is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer to join its Enterprise Cybersecurity team. This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, cloud platform engineering, and digital innovation, supporting a large-scale environment that delivers investment, retirement, brokerage, and wealth management solutions to millions of clients.
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will focus on building secure-by-design cloud platforms that enable engineering teams to develop and deploy applications safely at enterprise scale. Rather than serving as a traditional security operations resource, you will act as a strategic security partner to cloud architects, platform teams, and software engineers, helping embed security controls directly into cloud-native services and development workflows.
You will be responsible for enhancing cloud governance programs, developing automated security guardrails, improving identity-centric security controls, and supporting the organization's migration of critical business applications to public cloud infrastructure. The position requires a strong understanding of modern cloud architecture, automation, and risk management, along with the ability to influence technical decisions across a large and complex technology ecosystem. You will also work closely with compliance, audit, and risk stakeholders to ensure cloud environments meet security and regulatory standards while maintaining speed and agility for the business.
