.Net Application Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cedar Park, TX that is seeking a .Net Application Administrator with .NET development experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise applications and integrations. This role is not 100% hands-on coding, more application ownership and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
* Write high-quality code using and .NET Core to support business operations
* Assist in maintaining existing codebases, adding new features, and fixing bugs
* Perform database operations using SQL Server and develop applications with backend database integration
* Apply Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices
* Manage third-party enterprise applications, providing troubleshooting and ensuring smooth business operations
* Create and update technical documentation and deployment instructions

Will work closely with the business side to:
* Understand functional requirements
* Support and enhance ERP systems
* Focus on solution building, not just technical execution

Titles may include:
* Software Engineer
* Associate Software Engineer
* Application Engineer
* Application Owner
* Solution Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

Primary Stack:
* C#
* .NET/.NET Framework
* .NET Core (screening focus)

AI exposure:
* AI knowledge is a plus, not required
* PEC has not adopted AI tooling yet due to security constraints
* Currently working with an AI expert architect for future adoption
* Not using Copilot, Claude, Code Assist, etc.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
