Senior IBM BAW / FileNet Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM BAW / FileNet Developer with strong hands-on experience in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM FileNet, Java/J2EE, and Kofax Capture.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise workflow and document management applications, primarily supporting InfoMAP, an enterprise case management and content management platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in IBM workflow technologies, enterprise content management, Java development, system integrations, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
• Support and enhance InfoMAP enterprise case management and content management applications.
• Develop and troubleshoot IBM FileNet applications, including Content Engine APIs, repositories, metadata, and document management.
• Build integrations between IBM BAW, FileNet, Java applications, Kofax Capture, and other enterprise systems.
• Support IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator applications and customizations.
• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications, backend components, web services, and APIs.
• Support Kofax Capture workflows, including scanning, OCR, indexing, validation, and batch processing.
• Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs using XML and JSON.
• Troubleshoot complex application defects, workflow failures, integration issues, and performance problems.
• Perform application testing, debugging, code reviews, and production support.
• Support application upgrades, modernization, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Work with TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Git for source control, code migration, and CI/CD activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development, maintenance, and system integration.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM workflow and content management technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
• Strong expertise in IBM FileNet, Content Engine APIs, document repositories, metadata, and document retrieval.
• Strong Java/J2EE development, debugging, testing, and deployment experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kofax Capture.
• Experience with document scanning, OCR, indexing, validation, batch processing, and document export.
• Experience integrating IBM BAW, FileNet, Kofax Capture, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator.
• Experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP web services.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Git.

Highly Desired Skills

• Experience modernizing IBM BPM, IBM BAW, FileNet, or IBM Case Manager applications.
• IBM Content Navigator customization, plug-in development, and UI configuration.
• FileNet integrations using Java APIs.
• Experience with Tungsten Total Agility (formerly Kofax Capture).
• Verifiable IBM BAW or FileNet professional certification.
• Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET, .NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience in government, utilities, or highly regulated environments.
