Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Senior Consultant to design, develop, and implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAC Planning, budgeting, forecasting, advanced analytics, and cloud application development. The candidate should also have hands-on experience with JavaScript for SAC scripting, custom widgets, and application development within the Analytics Designer.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Analytics solutions.
Build and enhance SAC Planning models for budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational planning.
Connect SAC with multiple enterprise data sources including SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP databases.
Develop SAC Analytics Designer applications using JavaScript for custom business logic, scripting, and enhanced user interactions.
Configure and develop Data Actions, Multi Actions, Advanced Formulas, Allocations, and Business Rules.
Create interactive dashboards, story canvases, Smart Discovery reports, and advanced visualizations.
Implement rolling forecasts, simulations, predictive planning, distributions, and planning workflows.
Design custom calculations, KPIs, planning templates, and analytical reports.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAC solutions.
Optimize SAC performance and troubleshoot planning models and dashboards.
Support production operations, enhancements, testing, and deployments.
Ensure data integrity, security, governance, and audit compliance across SAC applications.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
Experience with Planning and Budgeting systems including:
Cost Center Planning
Profit Center Planning
Internal Orders
Project Planning
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Expertise in SAC Planning features including:
Advanced Allocations
Rolling Forecasts
Simulations
Distributions
Data Audit
Advanced Formulas
Data Actions
Multi Actions
Experience building Story Canvases, Smart Discovery, and advanced visualizations including charts, tables, maps, filters, and KPI dashboards.
Strong experience with JavaScript for:
Analytics Designer scripting
Custom widgets
Event handling
Business logic implementation
UI customization
Experience integrating SAC with SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, Datasphere, and non-SAP data sources.
Knowledge of planning workflows, data modeling, security roles, and authorization concepts.
Experience with predictive analytics and forecasting is a plus.
Strong SQL and data modeling knowledge.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) certification.
Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP BPC.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
