Summary

  • Position : Workday Functional Consultant

  • Location : Houston, TX. (Onsite)

  • Workday Functional Consultant- SME

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Workday HCM and project management
  • Work directly with customers to design, build, test and deploy system configurations in the HCM area (functional areas, like Core HCM, Absence & Leave, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, etc. are highly preferred)
  • Good knowledge of HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Security Administration and Business Process Configuration
  • Good hands-on knowledge on Comp planning(plan, grade, profile, matrix, guideline & package) and Adv compensation(Merit, bonus, stock, flexible salary planning, worksheets & statements).
  • Good hands-on experience on Workday security configurations ( Domain security , BP security policies, Roles & User based security group)
  • Practical experience in Workday HCM technology gained during environment implementations or AMS-type activities (projects, post-production support, etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of reporting in a complex environment, preferably for multiple business lines/geographies and HR data
  • People Management / global stakeholder management/ Vendor management experience would be preferable
  • Participate in the discovery workshops across functional domains
  • Provide business analysis related to specific area(s) of functional expertise
  • Work as a part of the project team to support architecture, scoping, implementation, and post-production activities
  • Configure and test business processes according to customer requirements and system set-up
  • Build, automate and release solutions based on clients' priorities and requirements.
  • Explore and discover risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality and bring to the table potential solutions.
  • Make sure that all integration solutions meet the client specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Support the data conversion and migration, integrations, and respective validation streams
  • develop and deliver customer-specific training and documentation
  • Help clients resolve functional issues by offering valid expertise in the Workday solution
  • Excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audiences, as well as to external Clients
  • Workday Certification preferred.
