Job Summary
 
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Houston, TX. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business objectives are effectively translated into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to drive business process improvements, support enterprise initiatives, and deliver measurable business value.
 
The Technical Business Analyst will perform advanced business process analysis, requirements gathering, assessments, identify opportunities and recommend technology solutions that align with strategic business goals. The successful candidate will excel at bridging the gap between business and technical teams, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, and driving successful project outcomes across complex enterprise environments.
 
 
Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Define project scope, business objectives, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Conduct business process analysis, gap assessments, and cost-benefit evaluations to recommend technology solutions aligned with business goals.

 
Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Facilitate requirements for workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution review sessions.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

 
Solution Delivery & SDLC Support

• Translate business needs into user stories and detailed solution requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support change management by tracking requirements, dependencies, risks, and change requests.

 
Testing & Quality Assurance

• Partner with QA teams to develop test plans and validate business requirements.
• Coordinate and support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Guide business users through testing activities to ensure solutions meet business expectations.

 
Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, requirements repositories, and process artifacts.
• Evaluate implemented solutions and project outcomes to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

 
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite)
Experience: 5-8 Years
 
 
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT and enterprise technology projects.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments is required.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and requirements management.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, system integrations, and software delivery methodologies.
• Data analysis experience with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present insights from business and system data.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred, ideally in Finance or Accounting.
