Position : SAP Business Analyst – Click to SAP FSM/SSAM Transition
Location : Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Role Summary
We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Click (ClickSoftware) and SAP FSM/SSAM to lead a large-scale field service transformation initiative. The role will be responsible for driving the transition from legacy Click systems to SAP FSM/SSAM platforms, ensuring seamless business process alignment, data migration, and stakeholder adoption.
This is a high-visibility role requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, SAP architects, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirement Management
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders, SMEs, and product owners
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Develop BRDs, FRDs, process models, and backlog prioritization artifacts
- Ensure alignment of requirements with SAP FSM/SSAM capabilities
2. Click to SAP FSM/SSAM Transformation
- Analyze ClickSoftware configurations, workflows, and integrations
- Define target-state processes for SAP FSM/SSAM implementation
- Perform mapping between Click and SAP FSM modules (work order management, scheduling, mobility, asset tracking)
- Identify gaps, dependencies, and migration challenges
3. Process Design & Optimization
- Conduct AS-IS vs TO-BE analysis across field service workflows
- Drive process standardization aligned with SAP FSM/SSAM best practices
- Recommend improvements to scheduling, dispatch, workforce optimization, and service execution
4. Data Migration & Integration Support
- Define data mapping and migration strategy from Click to SAP FSM/SSAM
- Collaborate with technical teams on data migration, validation, and reconciliation
- Support integration with upstream/downstream systems (SAP IS-U, ERP, GIS, CRM)
5. Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and UAT sessions
- Support decision-making on functional design and transformation roadmap
6. Agile Delivery & Governance
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives
- Ensure traceability of requirements across design, build, and testing phases
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant
- Hands-on experience with ClickSoftware (Click)
- Strong expertise in SAP FSM (Field Service Management) and/or SAP SSAM
- Proven experience in system transformation / migration programs
- Strong experience in requirement gathering, process modeling, and documentation (BRD/FRD/User Stories)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable functional solutions
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in Utilities / Energy domain (Field Service operations)
- Exposure to SAP IS-U, SAP PM, or related SAP service modules
- Experience with data migration tools, ETL processes, and reconciliation techniques
- Knowledge of integration patterns (APIs, middleware platforms such as CPI, Mulesoft, etc.)
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (Power BI or similar)
- Experience working in multi-vendor / distributed delivery environments
