Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Merchandising Associate in Saint Louis, MO.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain product slotting strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and order fulfillment productivity
* Analyze inventory movement, velocity, and storage utilization to optimize product placement within the distribution center
* Coordinate product relocations, seasonal inventory changes, and warehouse layout adjustments
* Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure product accuracy and availability
* Support the implementation of merchandising standards, warehouse organization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
* Analyze operational data and key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
* Work with supply chain, procurement, transportation, and operations teams to improve product flow and replenishment processes
* Assist with new product introductions, SKU rationalization, and inventory transitions
* Develop reports and dashboards related to inventory movement, storage capacity, and operational performance
* Participate in warehouse audits, cycle counts, and process improvement projects
* Support safety, quality, and compliance initiatives throughout the facility
* Maintain accurate product master data, location records, and inventory documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, merchandising, inventory management, or supply chain functions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management tools
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
