responsibilities:
- Full stack software engineering 8 plus years of experience; with a focus in financial services applications is a plus
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications using React (frontend) and Python (backend)
- Demonstrated experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners
- Shown leadership skills in driving the workforce and guiding/mentoring junior developers
- Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features
- Proven understanding of the Agile software development methodology
- Extensive experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions
- Relevant knowledge of modern application architecture patterns and emerging technologies
- Proficiency with server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, libraries, and related technologies: Python, .NET, .NET MVC and Microsoft frameworks
- Client-side language, library, and framework proficiency: React a plus, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, SPFx
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools, including build pipelines, automation, and version control
- Demonstrated ability to establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for both traditional applications (React/Python)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams working on Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and related cloud services
- Shown ability to create automation scripts and tooling to streamline deployments and workflows
- Experience defining best practices for version control, release management, and DevOps in hybrid environments
- Demonstrated experience communicating technical needs and capabilities to both technical and non-technical team members
- Comfort working across both traditional codebases and platform-based solutions
