Position Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineering Technician to support process development, testing, and production activities within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with Process Engineers, R&D teams, and production personnel to execute technical experiments, monitor process performance, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can effectively balance multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and provide hands-on support for equipment setup, testing, and process optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Process Engineering and R&D teams with technical testing, experiments, and process validation activities.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot processing and production equipment used in engineering trials and test runs.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and provide guidance to production operators to ensure adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Collect, document, and analyze process data from test activities and production runs.
  • Prepare records, charts, graphs, and reports to communicate findings and support engineering recommendations.
  • Assist in identifying process inefficiencies, yield issues, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action efforts related to process performance and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to support project objectives and production goals.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, process engineering, laboratory, or R&D environments.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical instructions, procedures, and process documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), data collection, or manufacturing metrics.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting manufacturing or process equipment.
  • Exposure to quality systems, root cause analysis, and technical reporting.
