We are seeking a DDI Engineer to provide network operations support for DHCP/DNS/IP address management infrastructure. This role involves 24x7 support for production systems, necessitating some off-hours and weekend work. The DDI Engineer will manage service requests, incidents, and changes, including adding, modifying, or deleting DDI configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide network operations support for DHCP/DNS/IP address management infrastructure.
- Manage the full lifecycle of DDI requests, including design, peer review, scheduling, implementation, and closure.
- Fulfill service requests by analyzing customer needs, prioritizing, scheduling, and executing changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Network Operations, Engineering, and Architecture, on configuration design and impact assessment.
- Perform validation testing and pre-work in non-production environments.
- Adhere to established processes for change management and design reviews.
- Manage QIP globally for different regions and handle resource record, device registration, and site code requests.
- Work with business partners and customers to resolve level 2-3 support issues.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Hands-on experience with Bluecat, Vital QIP, and DNS tools.
- Experience in Network Operations Service Delivery.
- Experience with Remedy ITSM for service requests, work orders, change, and incident management.
Technical Skills:- Subject matter expertise in DDI requests (Vital QIP and Bluecat).
- Knowledge of network concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Load balancing, IPS, and basic routing/switching.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and packet analysis.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols including DNS, DHCP, Subnetting, LDAP, IWA, SSO, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of tools like Remedy, Putty, and Windows PowerShell.
Professional Skills:- Knowledge of process management, ITIL v3/v4.
- Analytical skills and adherence to operational discipline.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
