Position Details:
Supplier Quality Engineer Intermediate- St. Paul, MN
Location : St. Paul, MN 55117 (On-site)
Project Duration : 12 Months of contract
Shift : 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate : $37.50 per hour on W2
Description:
- Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for supplier development, monitoring, improvement, and maintenance.
- Contributes to the development, establishment and maintenance of supplier quality engineering methodologies, systems and practices which meet Abbott and regulatory requirements.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Supplier Change Notification (SCN) manage change impact assessment, internal/external communication, and change implementation
- Material Non-conformance Investigations manage root cause investigation, risk assessment, and correction activities
- Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) manage investigation, corrective action, and verification of effectiveness (VOE).
- Supplier Development manage supplier qualification, new material qualification, and receiving inspection procedure development for new product integration
- Supplier Performance Monitoring support supplier performance monitoring by creating performance scorecards
- Supplier Maintenance manage continuous improvement and supplier history file accuracy.
