MuleSoft Developer (Remote Contract 9 Months + Extension)

Overview

Skilled MuleSoft Developer with 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration projects. This is a remote contract role focused on building and supporting scalable API-led integrations using MuleSoft, with exposure to messaging systems, Salesforce, and cloud platforms. The engagement is initially for 9 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft
Build and support API-led connectivity (System, Process, Experience APIs)
Develop and optimize batch integration processes for large data volumes
Work with messaging systems (topics, queues) for asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture
Integrate enterprise applications including Salesforce and other SaaS/legacy systems
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to define integration standards
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of integration solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in integration flows
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for MuleSoft development

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in enterprise integration development
Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and data transformations
Experience implementing batch jobs and scheduled integration flows
Strong knowledge of messaging systems (JMS, Kafka, or similar topics/queues based architecture)
Experience integrating with Salesforce and other enterprise applications
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
