SAP Test Lead (Canada Role)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Lead to drive end-to-end testing initiatives for SAP implementations within the Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) domain. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SAP testing methodologies, regulatory compliance (GxP), and validation processes, along with leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional testing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP testing lifecycle, including test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting
• Coordinate functional, integration, UAT, and regression testing across SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, FICO, QM)
• Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other regulatory standardsrelevant to healthcare and life sciences
• Develop and review test plans, test cases, RTMs, and validation documentation(IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and IT teams to ensure accurate requirement validation
• Manage defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Solution Manager
• Drive test automation strategy and adoption (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft)
• Lead risk-based testing approaches and ensure audit readiness
• Provide status reporting, metrics, and dashboards to leadership
• Mentor and guide junior testers and offshore/onshore teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in SAP Testing, with at least 2+ years in a Test Lead role
• 5+ years of strong experience in SAP modules (S/4HANA preferred)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager)
• Good understanding of validation processes (CSV) and documentation standards
• Proven experience in test planning, execution, and defect management
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences domain (Pharma, MedTech, Clinical, etc.)
• Knowledge of GxP, FDA, EMA regulations, and audit processes
• Experience with test automation tools like Tosca, Selenium, or Worksoft
• SAP certifications (S/4HANA or specific modules)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments
